First Contact!

There are so many hidden influences shaping a young girls personality.  It takes a clever exercise and an entire class period to really reflect on even just the highlights. Small comments you think you should set a side take on a whole new light when you realize how capable they are to move you.  Shaving this morning took on a new light when I began to think what outside forces had in some way or another pushed me to think that the natural hair growth on my legs was somehow negative and needed to be removed.  I happy to be moving towards a greater awareness.  I know my work with The Gathering Place will open my eyes to plenty more revelations about what it really means to be a woman.  I had so much fun looking though their web page, my excitement is gaining momentum knowing I can make a real difference for these families.  I recommend everyone takes a look www.tgpdenver.org.
